DeliverEat received Funding

DeliverEat.my, an online food ordering & delivery company in Penang, Malaysia has

completed a six-figure seed funding from Singapore-based Crystal Horse Investments Pte

Ltd and Malaysia-based angel investor, Tan Swee Yeong. This comes at an appropriate

time as the company is in the midst of gearing up to expand its business in the Northern

region. The company was founded by Leong Shir Mein in April 2012.

“The team at DeliverEat is very excited with this new investment and we look forward to add

more restaurants and to cover more delivery areas in Penang soon.” said Shir Mein, founder

of Delivereat.my

Michiel Wind, CEO of Crystal Horse Investments wrote: “We are excited with our first

investment in Penang and our ninth start-up investment in a Malaysia.”

There are currently more than 50 restaurants available on DeliverEat.my for users to order

their food, beverages and desserts. The company received pre-seed grant from Malaysia’s

Cradle Fund previously.
