Based on numbers from a selected few active investors of early stage companies, they categorised and summarized the  the companies&#8217; current status. The key take away message of the article is: if you want to make boatloads of money, trying to create a true game-changer won’t be the most likely way to succeed. While the scenery has become less gloomy, it’s still true that if you want to do a startup, your reason for doing it should be to create new value and navigate uncharted markets.</p>

<p>completed a six-figure seed funding from Singapore-based Crystal Horse Investments Pte </p>
<p>Ltd and Malaysia-based angel investor, Tan Swee Yeong. This comes at an appropriate </p>
<p>time as the company is in the midst of gearing up to expand its business in the Northern </p>
<p>region. The company was founded by Leong Shir Mein in April 2012.</p>
<p>“The team at DeliverEat is very excited with this new investment and we look forward to add </p>
<p>more restaurants and to cover more delivery areas in Penang soon.” said Shir Mein, founder </p>
<p>of Delivereat.my</p>
<p>Michiel Wind, CEO of Crystal Horse Investments wrote: “We are excited with our first </p>
<p>investment in Penang and our ninth start-up investment in a Malaysia.”</p>
<p>There are currently more than 50 restaurants available on DeliverEat.my for users to order </p>
<p>their food, beverages and desserts. The company received pre-seed grant from Malaysia’s </p>
<p>Cradle Fund previously.  </p>
